Dr. Edward Gross
I received a Bachelor of Science from UGA in 1972, then graduated from College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. I then moved to Augusta in Feb. 1977 to join staff at Aidmore Animal Clinic. I became co-owner in 1980, and full owner in 1985. I began practicing at Care More in Feb 1998. My main interests are in small animal medicine and surgery. However orthopedics, dentistry, and exotics are my favorite interests. My family includes wife (Karen) and two children (Stephanie and Robby). At this present time I have 2 Chihuahuas, 2 Jack Russell Mixes, a Labrador Retriever Mix, a Hound Mix, and a Golden Retriever. I have a cat, several horses, goats, and a miniature donkey as well. I am also a black belt in TaeKwonDo which I am very proud of.
I started working at Care More full time since August 2016. I have been around since Care More opened with my father, Dr. Gross. Some of my favorite interests are radiography and sonography. I have been married to my husband, Devan, since May 2015 and we are currently expecting twin girls. I have two dogs, an English Bulldog (Bear) and a Labrador Retriever Mix (Dakota). I also have several horses and chickens as well. In my free time I enjoy gardening and camping. I am also currently in school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
I started working in the veterinary industry in 1999. I used to think that made me experienced, but after seeing all of these new adorable young kids coming through, I realize I’m just old. However, I truly can’t imagine doing anything else with my life. Veterinary Medicine is in my blood and it is not only what I do, but who I am. I love my job!! I am the mother of two amazing sons whom I love with all my heart. I have four dogs and two cats at home. The dogs are a black Labrador Retriever named Duke, a Pitbull named Brute, a dachshund named Frankie, and a 9 year old Shiba Inu named Taka. Taka is a dog I recently rescued after being burned in a house fire.
I have been in the veterinary field since 2000, I have worked with Dr. Gross for 14 AWESOME years!!
I’m proud to say that I love my job and love coming to work, not many people are able to say that. I couldn’t see myself doing any other job in life.
I have been married to my husband Danny for 16 years. We have two handsome boys Evan 15 and Garrett 12. I have 3 boxers, Tyson (10 years) who is my heart, he has only 3 legs due to an auto immune disease, we have been through it all together. Zoey (9 years) she was surrendered to us because her owner passed away and Nova (3 years) is the baby and my husband’s spoiled baby girl. What can I say I LOVE my boxers. We also have 3 cats (Skittles, Jelly Bean and Peeps) and a gecko (Cupcake).

Sarah Jane Moore
Hey everyone! I’m Sarah Jane. I’ve been working in the Veterinary field for almost four years now and I started at Care More in April 2016. I am very fascinated with parasitology, I enjoy watching surgeries, and I love working with frightened animals and gaining their trust. I live on a small “farm” which includes dogs, horses, a pig, and snakes. My two personal dogs are Charlie Anne, a rescued 4-year-old Pitbull/Chow Chow mix, and Oscar, a Boston Terrier puppy. In my free time, you can usually find me behind a camera taking pictures of my pets, wildlife, and nature. I love my job and being able to work with all kinds of animals and my sisters Lindsay and Mary Grace, all day!
My name is Courtney and I have 3 children, Abriana, Trent, and Ava. I have worked for Care More since February 2013 and I love it. I have seven dogs and five cats. I enjoy cooking on the weekends and spending time with my pets and children. I also try to foster dogs for rescue groups when I can or help to catch the strays in Richmond County.
My name is Jessica. I have been a receptionist here at Care More for 9 years. It has been a pleasure working here and working around a wonderful staff. Every day is like an adventure, I never know what is going to happen. It makes me feel good to be in a place that helps animals. I am married to my wonderful husband of 15 years, my best friend Ellis Oliver. We have a very energetic Doberman Pincher named Cyrus, who is our fur baby. He is very spoiled and loved. He loves chasing remote cars, running by a bike, swimming at the lake, and doing anything outside. I look forward to seeing you at Care More and cannot wait to see your furbabies.
I have been in the Veterinary field for around 11 years and almost half of a year has been spent at Care More. I have a Coonhound mix named Mandie who is 9 years old and Evie a one-year-old Walker Hound. I have been married to my husband, Patrick, for almost three years. I have two amazing boys, Fields and Brooks. I love what I do and working with animals every day. I also enjoy being able to work beside my younger sisters, Sarah Jane and Mary Grace.
I have been working as a Veterinary Technician for several years, and have been at Care More since June 2017. I have had a passion for working with animals for as long as I can remember. I truly enjoy working with animals every day. I have a small zoo that includes 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rat, and a wildly independent daughter.
I started here at Care More when I was thirteen years old as a volunteer in 2009 and then started as an employee about four years later. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I also pet sit for people frequently as well. I have a rescue Blue Heeler Mix, Marley, and a rescue FIV positive cat named Grandma. My future plans are to go to school to be an LPN and then eventually I will get my BSN to be a travel nurse.
Taka was brought into us on October 23, 2018 after being burned in a house fire. After months of surgeries and tender loving care he is a happy boy that now lives with Crystal. You can follow his journey on his Facebook Page- Taka’s Journey.
